Directions
Combine bananas, nuts, and egg. Add sugar and soda. Mix in bisquick baking mix to blend thoroughly.
Turn into a 9 by 5 by 3-inch loaf pan, bottom rubbed with shortening.
Bake in a 350℉ (180℃). oven 45 to 50 minutes. Let stand about 10 minutes, then turn out on a rack to cool.
Twelve hours' storage improves flavor and texture.
