Braised Green Beans in Tomato-Garlic Sauce

Directions
Add the olive oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat until hot.
Add the onions, and cook for4 to 6 minutes until onions are soft.
Stir in the garlic and keep cooking for 1 to 2 minutes.
Stir in the tomato purée, and let simmer for 4 to 6 minutes until some of the liquid has been evaporated.
Stir in the green beans, cover and cook until teaspoon beans are tender-crisp, 18 to 20 minutes, stirring once or twice during the simmering.
Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Divide among the serving plates and sprinkle some fresh basil.
Serve and enjoy!
