Simply braise green beans in a tomato sauce that is cooked with garlic and onion, tasty, juicy and refreshing!

Ingredients

TABLESPOON ML OLIVE OIL

EACH EACH ONIONS
chopped

CLOVES CLOVES GARLIC
or to taste, freshly minced

or grape tomatoes, pureed

leaves, freshly and thinly sliced

Directions

Add the olive oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat until hot.

Add the onions, and cook for4 to 6 minutes until onions are soft.

Stir in the garlic and keep cooking for 1 to 2 minutes.

Stir in the tomato purée, and let simmer for 4 to 6 minutes until some of the liquid has been evaporated.

Stir in the green beans, cover and cook until teaspoon beans are tender-crisp, 18 to 20 minutes, stirring once or twice during the simmering.

Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Divide among the serving plates and sprinkle some fresh basil.

Serve and enjoy!
