5 minLet's dive into the reasons why these ingredients create an excellent wet marinade for beef.
First, let's talk about the jalapeño pepper. This little green gem adds a spicy kick to the marinade, which not only enhances the flavor but also helps tenderize the beef. The capsaicin in the pepper breaks down the meat's fibers, making it more tender and juicy.
Next up are scallions, also known as green onions. These mild, oniony wonders add a subtle sweetness to the marinade, balancing out the heat from the jalapeño.
Now, let's not forget the garlic. This aromatic powerhouse infuses the beef with its intense, savory flavor. It's like a warm hug for your taste buds, and who doesn't love a good garlic hug?
Moving on to olive oil. This liquid gold helps carry the other ingredients' flavors deep into the beef, ensuring that every bite is packed with savoriness. Plus, it adds a touch of richness to the marinade.
Last, we have the chipotle chili peppers with adobo sauce. These smoky, spicy beauties bring a depth of flavor to the marinade that is simply irresistible. The adobo sauce also helps to tenderize the beef, making it melt-in-your-mouth.
It works particularly well in this Chipotle Chile-Garlic Grilled Flank Steak
