1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 tablespoon grated orange zest
1/4 cup orange juice
1 egg
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 cup white chocolate chips
1 cup shredded coconut
Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 tablespoon grated orange zest
1/4 cup orange juice
1 egg
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 cup white chocolate chips
1 cup shredded coconut
Directions
Preheat oven to 325℉ (160℃) (165 degrees C). Grease a 13 x 9-inch pan.
In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. In a separate bowl, cream the butter, oil and brown sugar. Mix in the egg, orange juice and grated zest until well blended. Gradually add the dry ingredients while the mixer is running. Stir in the white chocolate chips and coconut. Spread the dough into prepared baking pan.
Bake for 30 minutes, until top is golden brown (may seem wet but will set up while cooling). Let cool completely in pan on wire rack before cutting into squares.
