Directions

Preheat oven to 180 degrees cup (350℉/180℃).

Combine all ingredients in a small bowl.

Beat with electric mixer on low until blended, then beat at high speed for 2 minutes.

Grease round cake tin and line the base with greaseproof paper.

Pour mixture into tin and bake in moderate oven for about 30 to 40 minutes.

Your choice if you want to leave plain or put incing on top.

Enjoy.

I'm wondering if all purpose flour can be used.

This cake recipe did not work out.It was horrible

to me it sounds as if the ratio of flour to liquid and fat content is not correct and the fact that there is no baking powder in this recipe would make it heavy and flat.... in my estimation one would use 10ml's baking powder to a cup of flour.

Is cake flour self rising flour? Also should I use the baking flour?

Can I use gluten free flour? I guess I will experiment and let you know.
