Family Favorite Creamy Potato Soup

6-8 yukon gold potatoes
1 pkt salt free chicken bouillon
1 Tbsp dehydrated onion
1 tsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp salt
1 cup warm milk
1-2 Tbsp butter
8 slices American Cheese

Directions
- Peel and cut potatoes into 1-inch chunks.
- Add potatoes to pot of water.
- Bring water and potatoes to boil.
- Add bouillon, onion, garlic, and salt.
- Boil for 7 to 10 minutes, until potatoes are fork tender.
- Drain potatoes.
- Add milk, butter, and American Cheese. Once cheese is melted, smash ½ of the potatoes to thicken the soup.
- Ladle soup into individual bowls or mugs and enjoy!
