A hamantash (also spelled hamentasch, homentash, homentasch, (h)umentash, a filled cookie traditionally eaten during the Jewish holiday of Purim.

Directions
Cream butter sugar and add egg.
Mix and sift flour and baking powder and salt and add some of mixture to creamed butter and sugar mixture.
Add the milk and rest of flour.
Add flavoring. Roll dough out, cut into rounds and place spoonful of filling on each round.
Form into triangles and bake at 375℉ (190℃). for 15 to 30 min., depending on size.
