20 years ago, my mom's neighbor gave her this recipe. Mom always made it for my dad's birthday because he loved it. We all did! Anyway, we never knew what the cake was called, so we just called it Jean Howell cake, because she was the one who gave us the recipe. We still call it that today. It is very good!! We make pigs of ourselves too!!!
