Potatoes Perfect
Potatoes, bacon, onions and cheddar cheese, slow cooked in a Crockpot. It's hard to get more perfect than that.

Directions
Cook and drain the bacon, discard the fat.
Line the slow cooker insert with aluminum foil, running up the side with enough to overlap the potatoes when finished. Coat the foil lightly with butter.
Layer ½ of the bacon, onions, potato slices and cheese in the foil. Season the potato layer with salt and black pepper to taste, not too much salt, there's lots in the bacon and cheese already.
Repeat the layer again with ½ of the bacon, onion, potato slices and shredded cheddar cheese.
Light cover with the overlapping foil. Cover and cook on LOW setting for 8 hours or high setting for 4 hours.
Carefully remove, unwrap from foil and serve. Perfect potatoes every time.
