Directions
How to make salisbury steak
In a bowl, combine ⅓ cup of the French onion soup with the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and pepper. Shape into six oval patties.
In skillet, brown patties: pour off any excess fat. Gradually blend remaining soup into flour until smooth. Add to skillet with remaining ingredients; stir to loosen browned bits.
Cover, cook over low heat 20 minutes or until done. Stir now and then.
