This salad deserves five stars. We made the salad with some leftover roasted lamb leg. The mint-basil dressing was terrific, and it went so well with the lamb. The salad had lots of great texture and flavour...
A completely fat-free, sugar-free, low-fat, low calorie French-style salad dressing that's creamy, thick and packed with flavor.
No frying or splatters! Use a mini-muffin pan for an easy way to make perfect meatballs every time.
The tomato sauce worked deliciously well with the shrimp, olives and feta cheese. Used spaghetti instead of fettuccine, green olives stuffed with pimento instead of black olives. It was a very delightful dish, indeed.
A hearty beef stew served over mashed potatoes - a cold weather delight!
This easy and tasty vinaigrette is so versatile. It can be used as a salad dressing, a light, tasty and refreshing drizzle over cooked fish, or tossed with pasta.
Creamy Corn Chowder with Fresh Basil and Cherry Tomato recipe
My favorite as a child growing up in cold Minnesota.
Fresh basil and rosemary give the bread tons of herby flavor, the whole wheat flour adds extra nutty taste. And you can always substitute rosemary and basil with your favorite herbs, such as thyme, parsley...
Made this recipe for lunch today, and these quesadillas turned out cheesy and tasty, I used the fresh basil, parsely and dried oregano, I also put some minced garlic before I spread mixture, and at the end of the baking, I turned up the oven to 400 F degree, gave the tortillas a little bit brown on the edges, but watch them carefully, only took 2 to 3 minutes, and result was outstanding, I think this is a very flexible recipe too, you can put whatever vegetables you want, the flavour should be still excellent!
Summer squash, zucchini and fennel bulb are all freshly seasonal. Fire up the BBQ, grill these fresh vegetables, toss with juicy cherry tomates, a light and tasty vinaigrette and feta cheese. You can pair it with any grilled meat. Next day the leftover can be wrapped into wraps, or tortillas, or topping for pizza, another quick, easy and delicious meal!
Israeli couscous with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes and basil. A delightful side dish.
Quick and easy sandwich made with ripe tomato, fresh basil leaves and mozzarella cheese.
This recipe is over 100 years old. I add a twist to the recipe (and a little sweetness) by adding some golden raisins, like my favorite restaurant in Provincetown, Mass., does.
Very easy and quick recipe. And oh so delicious! I used pancetta instead of bacon and I topped it off with grilled chicken and served it with seasoned steamed broccoli.
Refreshingly delicious. You can use whatever seasonal veggies you have for fillings, such as mushrooms, green peppers. Serve it with tomato sauce.
