Somewhat similar to chili mac and American goulash found in other areas of the country, this American dish is most prevalent in New England.
Very warm and filling. Lots of mushroom flavor and the barley was tender and plump. I used a bit of olive oil to sauté the veggies along with a healthy dose of garlic. Easy to make with easy to find ingredients, perfect for a cool fall or winter day.
A crunchy combination of apples and celery with bits of toasted walnut in a creamy dressing. Perfect along side of pork or any other main dish.
An easy yet delicious recipe. I followed the recipe, and used whatever I had on hand. Then just mixed them up, and baked in the oven until the cheese was nicely browned. I let the casserole rest for about 10 minutes, then served it. Overall a great dish.
Everyone will love this rustic country dish of creamy leek and potato soup cooked in a pressure cooker.
A very tasty and light soup, and also packed with goodness. It certainly helped me use up some of the garden-fresh tomatoes that tasted amazing, and it warmed me up instantly, an ideal soup for fall.
