Mom's famous recipe. We've been eating this since the 80's, when nobody knew what curry was.

This hearty stew is a variant on the original Brunswick stew that used wild game. In this version the game is replaced with store bought chicken.

Instead of using a rich egg or cream batter, the chicken in this recipe is dipped in whole wheat flour, buttermilk-egg batter, and then unsweetened cereal crumbs to make a wonderfully crispy hot baked chicken, or cold picnic chicken.
