This recipe is my Great Grandmother Thorn's recipe. (GG's mother) So that would make it your Great Great Grandmother.
Creamy and tasty peanut sauce can be used in most of your Asian noodle and recipes. Using it as a dip or spread when you prepare wraps is also absolutely delightful.
Pad Thai Tip: For even more flavor, I'll often make a double batch of the pad Thai sauce. Then, as I'm stir-frying the noodles, I'll add more sauce until I'm happy with the taste (I also add extra fish sauce). Any leftover sauce can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
Last week, went to Toronto, saw a big fat burrito restaurant, and the burrito definitely impressed me. Once we were back home, I found this recipe and made my own version. Definitely a delicious yet nutritious recipe that I recommend to everyone!!
A very easy and fairly quick one pot meal that's perfect when you're in a hurry. Chunks of chicken and rice seasoned with star anise and Chinese five spice powder. Yum.
I loved the mixture of the parmesan and swiss cheeses in this. I didn't realize I was almost out of rice so I ended up using 1.5c cooked rice and 0.5c cooked couscous. That turned out wonderful! I thought this would be more "tomato-y", and I used 1.5 cups of tomatoes, but it was still tasty. Also, I didn't bother to peel or seed the tomatoes.
Sichuan peppers is the key ingredient in this recipe, ginger, garlic, scallions and fresh red chili peppers stir-fried with bok choy. Very juicy and tasty, great with some rice or noodles.
Within about 10 minutes, this Mexican coleslaw is ready to go. Refreshing, light, tasty and packed with goodness.
Asian flavors ring true in this orange scented Chinese chicken with snow pea pods.
Polish cabbage and beef. An easy casserole belly filling love affair.
Nothing is like a Chinese stir-fry when it comes to 'Quick, Easy and Delicious"!
Nothing is better than a bowl of hot and sour soup on a cold winter day. Fresh vegetables, garlic, ginger and scallions, and some udon noodles are cooked in a base of stock, soy sauce and rice vinegar. It warms you up within a few seconds with tons of flavors.
Definitely a five star recipe. I used salami instead of ham, because that was all I had at the moment, and it came out delicious. If you are a big fan of Chinese food and would't mind cooking in your own kitchen, you should give it a go. By the way, chow fan (fun) is how Chinese say fried rice. Happy Cooking :)
