Asparagus—along with avocado, kale and Brussels sprouts—is a particularly rich source of glutathione, a detoxifying compound that helps break down carcinogens and other harmful compounds. It is also packed with antioxidants, ranking high for its ability to neutralize cell-damaging free radicals.
Though it need a little long time to cook, good to try and all the time is worthy.
I LOVE THIS RECIPE:) Asparagus salad is typical of many Chinese vegetable salads, in that the vegetable is first steamed, then cooled, before slicing and dressing.
It is a nice recipe, asparagus with prosciutto, matching. Very great flavor.
